Why counselling?

For many different reasons life can feel overwhelming. You may be struggling with a significant life event, the stresses of work and family life, things from your past that are impacting you now, or that you feel unable to live your life fully.

Therapy can help you make sense of what is happening in your life. It is a place where we choose to explore who we are so we can move forward and live a fulfilled life.

It is my belief that as we increase our self awareness we become empowered participants in our own life and can choose how we want to live.

What I offer

In my role as your counsellor I offer you the space to talk. I know how important it is to be seen, heard and understood, as it is with this support you will find the answers that you need.

As a therapist who has personally been through some difficult times, I can understand what your challenges might be like for you. It can be difficult opening up with someone, but if you are prepared to risk your vulnerability with me, I will honour and respect it.
